Job Summary
Achieve daily, monthly, and annual sales targets while establishing relationships with clients and managing communication consistent with the brand. Set the example for exceptional customer service, visual merchandising standards, and operational excellence, including maintaining the selling floor and merchandise. Oversee all store aspects and staff in the absence of Store Management, open and close the store, and conduct all procedures. Maintain and grow existing clients through networking and outreach, utilizing local market knowledge of the clientele base and competitors. Participate in special events and projects as needed, adhering to all store and company procedures. Requires 7 days a week operation with open scheduling availability; located in Highland Park.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in a retail/boutique store dealing with high-end goods, and clientele-oriented sales
- Experience working in retail environment(s) with 7 days a week operation, which require open scheduling availability based on business needs
- Outgoing, energetic, professional demeanor
- Good representative of the James Perse brand
- Ability to emanate the James Perse brand lifestyle
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
- Strong independent work ethic
- Excellent time management skills
- High level of integrity
- Composure: Ability to handle customer interactions and potential issues or concerns courteously and professionally
