Job Summary
Plan and lead daily activity programs for residents with memory care conditions, organizing memory enrichment sessions for small groups. Facilitate recreational programming by preparing materials, researching new activities, and supporting music and occupational therapy sessions. Encourage resident participation, celebrate their achievements, and ensure meaningful engagement through creative and compassionate programming. This role requires a valid driver's license and clean driving record, with full-time AM shift hours from Sunday to Thursday. Compensation ranges from $20 to $22 USD.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent
- Effective communicator in verbal and written English
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Comfortable working around animals and pets
- Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia
- Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Full Time, AM shift, Sunday - Thursday
- Employment offers are contingent on background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing (if applicable)
