Job Summary
Provide hands-on care and support to Assisted Living residents by assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, and medication reminders. Maintain accurate records including resident service plans and documentation of care provided while communicating closely with the Resident Services team for seamless continuity. Approach every interaction with residents and fellow associates in a friendly, service-oriented way to help create a warm, safe, and positive environment. Support the day-to-day programming and operations of the neighborhood under the guidance of the Resident Services Director.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of related health care experience
- Dementia training completion (required for communities with an Ensemble Program)
- Ability to pass a criminal background screening
- Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or as required by your state)
- CNA or NA license/certification, in good standing (state-dependent)
- Experience with computerized resident documentation systems
