Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery to determine suitable treatment protocols. Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to enhance pain relief and mobility restoration. Monitor progress meticulously, maintaining detailed records of treatments and outcomes to inform ongoing adjustments, while periodically reassessing therapeutic goals. Provide hands-on instruction for assistive device use and foster collaborative relationships with caregivers. Work with diverse clientele ranging from young children to older adults in a Monday-to-Friday framework with flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid State License to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with word processing and electronic documentation software
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet patient needs and respond to diverse clinical situations
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience in a rehabilitation setting is advantageous
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is a plus
