Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, post-surgical cases, and sports injuries to develop appropriate treatment plans. Implement personalized therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training to promote healing and recovery. Educate patients and families on effective movement mechanics, home exercise routines, and strategies to prevent further injury. Document patient progress meticulously in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to ensure accuracy and continuity of care. Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in orthopedic physical therapy to continually enhance patient care. This role primarily serves elderly patients requiring rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries or treatment for chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for improving patient outcomes
- A collaborative spirit
- Understanding of elderly patient challenges and adaptation of approach
