Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patient needs and establish tailored treatment plans based on physician referrals. Administer diverse therapeutic interventions for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients while monitoring progress and adjusting protocols as necessary. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experiences and educate caregivers on home care routines to facilitate recovery outside clinical settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based care strategies and maintain detailed records to track efficacy. Meet minimum utilization goals to contribute to practice growth and patient satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer skills and documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in physical therapy
- Previous experience in the rehabilitation specialty
- Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with patients and effectively encourage them to meet their functional goals
