Job Summary
Manage therapeutic processes for a designated patient group by conducting comprehensive assessments to determine functional status and developing individualized care plans. Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises and modalities, tailored to each patient's unique needs while educating families on lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate documentation of progress and coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic rehabilitation. Review and prioritize caseloads to ensure efficient scheduling of daily therapy sessions for adults and pediatric clients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapist
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
- Experience working with pediatric and adult populations for a variety of conditions
- An understanding of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques specific to orthopedic and neurologic populations
