Job Summary
Implement and direct individualized treatment plans to restore physical function and promote independence. Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional abilities using diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint functions. Lead and supervise physical therapy assistants while administering therapeutic treatments including manual exercises, traction, and massage. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for case evaluations and continuous improvement of treatment strategies. Document patient progress meticulously through clinical records and educate patients and families on home exercises and device usage. Work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg, VA, supporting a diverse population recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid physical therapist license in the State of Virginia, in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing multiple patient schedules efficiently
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Exposure to home care or rehabilitation environments
