Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to ascertain rehabilitation needs. Develop and articulate individualized treatment plans that incorporate evaluation findings and patient preferences, then implement tailored protocols while continuously adapting based on ongoing progress. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care, maintain accurate documentation of all interactions in compliance with regulations, and demonstrate effective time management to meet productivity targets. Serve a diverse population recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain. Requires a Virginia license, BLS certification, and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
- Experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team and engaging in patient education
