Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgeries using evidence-based methods in a hands-on rehabilitation setting. Establish individualized treatment plans encompassing exercise regimes, manual therapy, and equipment utilization to improve mobility. Document patient progress meticulously, tracking responses and modifying goals as necessary. Train patients, families, and caregivers on assistive device usage and therapeutic procedures. Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and staying abreast of current trends. This role focuses on a diverse population including post-surgical, sports injury, and chronic condition patients, with a minimum of two years of direct experience required and a Texas license mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy
- A current and valid Texas State Physical Therapy License
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient computer and documentation skills
- A flexible attitude
- At least two years of experience in a physical therapy setting
