Job Summary
Evaluate and assess patients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating exercise, manual therapy, and modalities. Utilize advanced assessment tools to track progress and adapt strategies, while documenting all treatments and responses meticulously. Provide education to patients, caregivers, and families on assistive devices and therapeutic exercises, and participate in case reviews to ensure a multidisciplinary approach. Maintain licensure and stay current with field advancements through continuing education. Work Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling options, serving a diverse population including children and the elderly across orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical diagnoses.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Florida
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications related to documentation and scheduling
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a flexible mindset
