Job Summary
Assist therapists and therapy assistants in providing safe, effective therapeutic interventions for patients of various ages and developmental levels. Transport patients to and from therapy areas using proper body mechanics and safe handling techniques. Perform patient transfers under supervision, ensuring safety, proper use of assistive devices, and preservation of patient dignity. Prepare and maintain treatment areas, including gym spaces, patient rooms, and hydrotherapy areas, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to infection control standards. Perform basic clerical functions including answering phones, scheduling, filing, data entry, and charge entry verification. Coordinate communication with patients, families, therapists, and other healthcare team members to support efficient clinical operations. Participate in performance improvement activities, departmental initiatives, and data collection efforts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good interpersonal skills
