Job Summary
Night Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position responsible for ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen and aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene, and airway maintenance for adults and neonates. Performs respiratory assessments, interpretation of CXR/ABG/PFT data, and reports treatment evaluations under indirect supervision. Requires graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, TX licensure, NBRC registration, and current BLS/ACLS; NRP/PALS to be obtained within 1 year of hire. New graduates welcome; 6 months of experience preferred. Must maintain infection control and quality assurance practices and operate/troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment with patient-centered care across age groups.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support must obtain within 1 year of hire
- Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience preferred
