Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in a home care environment, assessing needs and tailoring treatment plans accordingly. Utilize evidence-based treatments including exercise, manual therapy, and therapeutic equipment to aid pain relief and mobility improvement. Establish individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific therapeutic goals that enhance patients' functional independence. Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and adapt plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and families on assistive device usage and effective physical therapy techniques. This full-time role offers a salary of $100,000 to $120,000 with flexible Monday-to-Friday hours. Located in Matawan, NJ, the position supports a diverse patient population including children and adults recovering from post-operative conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy
- Current CPR certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing and computer software
- The ability to adapt and respond to varying patient conditions and needs effectively
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care and professional development
