Job Summary
Emergency Department Registered Nurse (Night Shift) at UCHealth in Denver, CO. Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in a fast-paced ED. Requires RN licensure and ACLS; 6 months RN experience minimum, 1+ years psych RN preferred. Full-time nights (72 hours per 2 weeks) with night-shift incentive program. Roles include coordinating care across disciplines, patient transfers/discharges, and potential precepting of students/new hires. Onsite role with no remote option. Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- 6 months of RN experience
- 1+ years of psych RN experience strongly preferred
- Nursing role requires critical thinking, decisive judgement, ability to work with minimal supervision
- Onsite, Night Shift experience preferred
- Full Time schedule: 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
- Knowledge of nursing process and standards of practice
