Job Summary
Provide one-on-one adaptive skills support and behavior intervention for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. Collaborate with the clinical team to implement individualized goals while teaching behavioral, social, and daily living skills. Assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and community participation, including safe transport using a personal vehicle. Document sessions accurately and communicate progress to supervisors. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, RBT certification within 90 days, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel up to 50 miles. Shifts vary based on client schedules and may include evenings or weekends. Spanish language skills are strongly preferred to serve our diverse client population.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis, Counseling, Rehabilitation, or related human services field
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Auto insurance
- Willingness to travel up to 50 miles from home or assigned location
- Willingness to travel 100%
- Must successfully complete all required background checks
- CPR certification
- Must be comfortable driving clients
