Job Summary
Unload and organize incoming deliveries in a timely manner, maintaining organized storage by securely stacking, labeling, and consolidating items. Ensure accurate piece counts, note shipping errors, and address packaging damages while planning for efficient deliveries. Provide excellent service to customers, team members, and delivery drivers, and keep returns organized for pickup. Adjust pace to volume, take initiative on projects, and promptly clean up spills to ensure safety. Lift objects up to 75 pounds frequently and work in cold environments for extended periods. Full-time, 40-hour schedule with one weekend shift weekly; available 6:30am-8:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- One weekend shift is required weekly
- Must be 18 years or older
- Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell)
- Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently
- Stooping, squatting, & kneeling
- Walking – short distances
- Standing- prolonged standing
- Movement based work environment (walking & standing rather that sedentary)
- Ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time
