Job Summary
Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s is responsible for unloading freight, stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a clean, safe, and ready-to-serve store environment. Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, moving products to the sales floor, maintaining a safe workspace, assisting customers, and supporting store operations through dock preparation and equipment use (pallet jacks, forklifts, scanners, Zebra devices). The role is physical and fast-paced with shifts that may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight. Preferred qualifications include experience operating forklift/power equipment and warehouse stocking/inventory handling, with Lowe’s supporting growth through benefits, tuition assistance, a company-matching 401(k), and other programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Experience unloading freight and stocking shelves is a plus (preferred)
- Experience operating forklift/power equipment (preferred)
- Experience in a warehouse environment (preferred)
- Ability to operate store equipment (scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, or overnight hours as needed
- Safely lift up to 75 pounds
