Job Summary
Unloads freight, stocks merchandise on shelves, and maintains a clean, safe warehouse area; operates equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, conducts dock prep, verifies deliveries, and supports store operations. Provides SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and aiding with projects. Roles may include loading delivery orders, rotating orders by delivery date, and ensuring safe loading practices; flexibility to work morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight shifts depending on store needs; adherence to hazardous materials handling and safety procedures; contributes as a team player and participates in additional assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement
- Preferred Qualifications: 3 months Experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
- 6 months Experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking
