Job Summary
Unload freight, handle hazardous materials safely, and organize merchandise by stocking shelves, setting up pallets, and maintaining a clean workspace. Verify deliveries, complete dock prep, and operate equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts to keep the store ready. Assist customers in locating or loading products while resolving delivery order issues and ensuring quality loading practices. Rotate orders by delivery date and communicate proactively to ensure delivery satisfaction. Most shifts are physically active, working mornings, evenings, or overnight based on store needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
Desired Qualifications
- 3 months Experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
- 6 months Experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking
