Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one ABA sessions in the home setting for a young child on the autism spectrum, targeting functional communication, attending, imitation, and school-readiness skills. Support the child's development through activities that may include private school settings, ensuring all work aligns with neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based protocols. Collect accurate data while maintaining emotional regulation and creativity under the direction of a team of BCBAs. Work daytime hours, 30 hours per week, in Dearborn Heights.
Required Qualifications
- Patient, playful, and emotionally regulated under pressure
- Experience with teaching and learning environments
- Ability to navigate significant complexity without taking it personally
- Creativity and flexibility
- Experience working in cross-cultural environments
- Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based ABA
- Ability to follow written protocols consistently and collect accurate data
- RBT certification or readiness to earn it
