Job Summary
Provide trauma-informed counseling interventions to adults, children, and families in their homes to facilitate healing. Create trauma-informed treatment goals, complete clinical paperwork, and manage cases by assisting clients in connecting to community resources. Help individuals identify and strengthen natural supports while utilizing strong communication skills to collaborate with referral sources and other professionals. Offer assistance and clinical management for on-call crisis support, with local travel necessary. Requires a Bachelor's degree and QMHP-C, QMHP-A, or QMHP-T license with at least one year of experience working with at-risk youth or adults. Schedule includes after-school, day, evening, and weekend shifts with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be registered QMHP- or QMHP-T (Trainee) with the Virginia Board of Counseling
- QMHP-C OR QMHP- A OR QMHP-T A/C
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with at-risk youth OR adults
- Bachelor's (Required)
- Community Based Counseling Services: 1 year (Required)
- QMHP-T (A/C), QMHP-C, QMHP-A/C, LMHP License (Required)
- Local travel is necessary
- Relocate before starting work (Required)
