Job Summary
Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in an inpatient setting at Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in a compassionate manner. Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and clinical supervision as needed. Board eligible or certified psychiatrists with an active Massachusetts license are required. This role offers a flexible schedule and competitive pay within a state-of-the-art 150-bed facility operated jointly with Baystate Health.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain one
- Strong clinical skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
