Job Summary
Manage on-site staff, including assistant directors, direct-service leaders, security, and maintenance teams, while overseeing recruitment, training, and performance feedback. Develop educational and recreational programming for summer and school years, ensuring compliance with funder and licensor guidelines. Monitor the DYCD database for accurate attendance reporting and maintain operations for the on-site food pantry and community partnerships. Conduct regular program assessments, plan large-scale events and trips, and coordinate with NYCHA and DYCD to address facility maintenance and cleanliness issues. Represent NIA professionally with community partners, co-locators, and officials, while maintaining communication with the assigned supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 5+ years in youth services
- at least 2 of those [5+ years] in a supervisory role
- Must qualify to be named Director on DOH SACC license or be willing to obtain SAC credential
- Excellent leadership, supervisory, and team-building skills

- CPR/First Aid certification
