Job Summary
Prepare meals according to menu plans and dietary needs while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. Safely transport prepared meals to Sandstone Care locations using a company van, ensuring temperature control and accurate delivery. Manage kitchen operations by organizing supplies, assisting with inventory ordering, and maintaining cleanliness to comply with health regulations. Document meal counts, inventory logs, and vehicle mileage accurately. This role requires a valid driver's license with a clean record, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and 1-2 years of food preparation experience. Previous experience in a treatment center is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- 1-2 years of experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Knowledge of nutrition
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
