Provide postpartum and obstetric nursing care in a hospital setting in Tulsa, OK. Responsibilities include rapidly assessing patient care needs, completing paperwork and charting, delegating tasks to appropriate staff, facilitating education for patients, families, and staff, maintaining patient confidentiality, participating in quality/performance improvement initiatives, providing care with fetal and maternal monitoring equipment, managing pain including epidural and patient-controlled analgesia, assisting physicians during delivery and procedures, and delivering patient/family education on labor and newborn care. Requires delivering safe, compassionate care and collaborating with the healthcare team.
