Job Summary
Do Pilates. Do Life. Pilates instructor responsibilities include teaching safe, challenging classes across Mat and Reformer with opportunities for group, private, and semi-private sessions; develop class plans, modify progressions for clients with injuries, and maintain Club Pilates education standards. Requires 200-450+ hour Pilates education, strong customer service, effective communication, and ability to deliver group Reformer instruction with additional equipment (Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, Magic Circle). Required Qualifications
- Minimum 200-450+ hour Pilates education (Mat and Reformer)
- Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
- Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates
- Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminars
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to teach group classes, private, and semi-private sessions as scheduled
- Experience with teaching a variety of clients and injuries/limitations in a safe manner
