Job Summary
Conduct group, private, and semi-private Pilates classes using Mat, Reformer, Chair, Springboard, and Cadillac equipment while ensuring client safety through anatomical knowledge and proper modifications. Develop and teach challenging, fitness-based class plans adhering to Club Pilates standards for all skill levels. Provide instruction in Intro classes and private sessions within state-of-the-art studios, utilizing contemporary approaches to classical exercises. Maintain up-to-date education standards and implement continuing education trainings. Earn $40.00-65.00 per class with flexible block scheduling, subbing opportunities, and client acquisition support. Required Qualifications
- 200 - 450+ hour comprehensive Pilates education
- Minimum education to include Mat and Reformer
- Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
- Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates
- Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminars
- Punctual and reliable
- Must be skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of Pilates equipment during each class
- Minimum to include Mat and Reformer
- Ensure a safe yet creative group experience
- Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and focus on safety
- Ability to provide modifications and progressions for clients with injuries and/or limitations
- Stay up to date with, and implement Club Pilates education standards at all times
- Develop and create class plans that are safe, effective, and challenging pursuant to Club Pilates standards
- Provide Pilates instruction to include Intro classes, group apparatus classes, private and semi-private training as scheduled
Desired Qualifications
- Ideal skill set will also include training in the Chair, Springboard, and Cadillac, as well as TRX, Magic Circle and other equipment
