Job Summary
Administer physical therapy treatments and wellness services to older adult patients following supervising Physical Therapist plans. Conduct wellness checkpoint visits to monitor progress, facilitate communication among patients, families, and providers, and support telehealth appointments. Adhere to ethical standards, document sessions accurately, and participate in program development activities. Maintain compliance with state regulations and organizational policies while optimizing functional capabilities for clients managing post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, and mobility issues.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, along with completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Active PTA state licensure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A results-oriented mindset combined with critical thinking skills
- Proficient with technological tools and software that support patient care and documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience in a similar role
