Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient examinations to assess physical abilities, then develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices and modalities such as therapeutic exercises and manual therapy. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care for diverse populations ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic conditions. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries while supervising and mentoring physical therapy assistants and students. Participate in community outreach programs and engage in continuous professional development through in-service training and workshops.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure in Physical Therapy
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and analysis of treatment plans
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively within a fast-paced environment
