Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to determine physical capabilities and functional limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing specific needs and goals. Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration. Utilize contemporary assessment tools to track progress and adapt treatment as necessary. Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, treatments, and outcomes. Engage in patient and family education to promote active involvement in recovery. Lead community outreach initiatives to raise awareness of physical therapy services. Assist with departmental management, including supervision of support staff and resource allocation. Attend staff meetings and participate in continuing education to enhance competency. This full-time role includes 40 hours per week with variable weekends. Mindful Physical Therapy emphasizes a culture of collaboration, equity, and inclusivity within our West Palm Beach Rehabilitation Center.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid State License in Physical Therapy
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on empathetic patient interaction
- Proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Drug-free workplace
- Adherence to various vaccination protocols
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting
- Experience in rehabilitation or orthopedic therapy
- Familiarity with the latest physical therapy techniques and approaches
- Experience in community outreach
