Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical conditions and functional capabilities, then develop individualized treatment plans incorporating manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities like electrical stimulation. Implement hands-on techniques to promote pain relief and mobility while providing education on body mechanics and preventive care strategies. Regularly monitor and document patient progress in compliance with healthcare regulations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure integrated care for diverse populations managing back pain, arthritis, post-surgical recovery, and gait disorders. Maintain accurate session documentation and support continuous professional development within a patient-centered outpatient environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
