Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical conditions. Guide clients through therapeutic exercises and stretches while administering modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy. Educate patients on body mechanics and home exercise programs to foster independence, and monitor progress by tracking metrics like range of motion and strength development. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists to coordinate comprehensive care. Maintain treatment areas and organize equipment to ensure smooth operations. Uphold ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and dignity throughout the rehabilitation process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
- Demonstrated knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and best practices, with a focus on patient-centered care
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation or clinical setting
- Familiarity in multispecialty practices
