Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for injuries, surgeries, and illnesses to determine specific rehabilitation needs. Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercises, hands-on manipulation, and specialized equipment. Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance outcomes, track progress, and modify plans as necessary. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safe use of assistive devices. Maintain active membership in professional organizations and attend relevant workshops to stay current on professional development. Work on-site Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling options.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Possession of a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats
- Proficiency with technology including word processing and electronic health record systems
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation setting
