Job Summary
Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients, implementing hands-on therapy techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training. Educate patients on recovery strategies and preventive measures while regularly documenting progress and modifying plans based on measurable outcomes. Collaborate closely with physicians and occupational therapists to ensure coordinated care for conditions such as post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Work weekdays Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a home care setting, serving an orthopedic population focused on empowering active participation in healing.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Possession of an active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy
- A robust understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platforms, particularly WebPT
- No prior disciplinary actions or board complaints
- Experience in home care settings
- Clinical expertise that includes current trends and methods in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Prior involvement in interdisciplinary team settings
