Job Summary
Physical Therapist at Mennowood Retirement Community in Newport News, VA. Responsible for screening, evaluating, re-evaluating, discharge planning, and revisions in the established plan of care under physician supervision. Requires PT degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate) and active state licensure, with demonstrated organizational and communication skills and the ability to supervise Physical Therapy Assistants. Works in a collaborative, interdisciplinary care environment focused on holistic wellness and meaningful resident relationships. Full-time, Monday–Friday, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for direct applicants.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate in physical therapy from an accredited program
- Active state license
- Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations
- Ability to supervise Physical Therapy Assistants
- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure
