Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans addressing recovery goals following injury, surgery, or health challenges. Implement therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercises, and advanced equipment to enhance mobility and alleviate pain. Monitor patient responses and progress throughout treatment, modifying plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment protocols and self-care practices while documenting sessions and progress notes meticulously. Engage in periodic reevaluations to adjust strategies based on evolving needs and participate in continuous professional development through workshops and seminars. Treat diverse populations ranging from pediatric to geriatric clients recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A current state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and documentation systems
- Ability to work flexible hours
- A proactive approach
- Willingness to adapt treatments based on individual patient responses and advancements in therapeutic practices
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Recent graduates with excellent clinical training
- Experience in home health care or outpatient rehabilitation
