Job Summary
Design and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on enhancing patient mobility, strength, and functionality. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs, then guide them through therapeutic exercises to alleviate pain and promote recovery. Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy while educating patients on home exercise programs. Monitor and document progress meticulously, maintaining clean treatment areas and upholding ethical standards for patient confidentiality. Provide emotional support to diverse populations ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, including those recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. This full-time role is onsite at our Augusta, GA facility, offering a salary of $100,000 to $120,000 with comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting and contribute to multidisciplinary care approaches
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
- Experience in specialized areas such as pediatric, neurological, or sports rehabilitation
