Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to design individualized treatment plans. Administer therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercise, and modalities rooted in evidence-based practice. Adjust treatment plans using clinical judgment and patient feedback to optimize recovery outcomes. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and strategies for maintaining physical health. Collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care while meeting utilization and efficiency goals.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program
- A valid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) license in the State of New Jersey
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with word processing and relevant computer systems
- A proven track record of establishing lasting relationships with patients to enhance their recovery process
