Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patients' physical capabilities to develop individualized treatment plans, managing a caseload of approximately one patient per hour. Employ manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to maximize outcomes, while monitoring progress and adjusting plans through regular evaluations. Utilize evidence-based practices to design fitness programs and maintain thorough documentation in WebPT EMR Software. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians to ensure comprehensive care for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Active and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York
- Demonstrated history of professionalism with no disciplinary actions against your license
- Strong understanding and experience in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription
- Proven ability to develop and implement rehabilitation plans effectively
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1-3 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience using WebPT EMR software or similar electronic medical record systems
