Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories, performing assessments, and documenting findings. Collaborate with patients and families to develop personalized treatment plans, then implement protocols while adjusting strategies based on individual progress. Work closely with healthcare professionals to monitor conditions and modify plans, manage discharge planning, and ensure continuity of care. Maintain timely scheduling, meet productivity expectations, and actively participate in departmental goals and compliance efforts. Share clinical knowledge as an instructor for physical therapy students and contribute to community engagement initiatives. Serve a diverse population ranging from post-operative cases to chronic condition management.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent qualification
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia
- Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR) from the American Heart Association
- 2 years of relevant experience
