Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to create tailored treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, implementing evidence-based practices across orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties. Provide skilled therapeutic interventions at the facility and during in-home visits, adapting techniques to align with physician treatment plans while educating patients and caregivers on recovery strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery and meet established utilization goals. Work onsite Monday through Friday in a diverse patient population setting, ensuring each individual feels supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in New Jersey
- Two (2) years of hands-on clinical experience providing physical therapy
- Current certification in CPR
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency
- A commitment to patient-centered care
- The ability to build rapport quickly with patients
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for contributing positively to the lives of others and the local community
- Experience in specialized areas such as geriatrics, manual therapy, or sports medicine
- A track record of participating in community outreach initiatives or local athletic events
