Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients with functional limitations and disabilities, then develop and adjust individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices. Utilize therapeutic modalities to optimize recovery while communicating effectively with patients and families regarding the rehabilitation process and preventative measures. Record accurate documentation of assessments and progress notes, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians to ensure a seamless continuum of care. Participate in community outreach initiatives and mentor support staff to enhance team competency. This role focuses on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions across pediatric to geriatric populations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and valid State License in Physical Therapy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and word processing applications
- A collaborative spirit with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of clinical experience in physical therapy
