Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess rehabilitation needs and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing exercise prescriptions, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities. Monitor patient progress consistently, documenting responses and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements, while adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on optimal self-care practices, use of assistive devices, and strategies to enhance recovery at home. Stay current in the field through professional development opportunities and contribute to building knowledge within the team. This outpatient role serves a diverse population including children and adults recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions, sports-related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current physical therapy license in the State of Connecticut
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems
- A flexible and adaptive approach to therapy
- Prior experience of at least 2 years

- Engagement in continuing education or specializations
