Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient functional capabilities, medical history, and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and evidence-based practices. Implement and adjust treatment protocols for orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Maintain clear documentation of patient care activities, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to adjust care plans and provide detailed discharge planning recommendations. Work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience as a practicing physical therapist, particularly in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Strong skills in developing personalized rehabilitation programs and patient education initiatives
