Job Summary
Develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans to minimize disability and enhance functional mobility. Conduct comprehensive evaluations using diagnostic tests and administer techniques including manual exercises, traction, and physical agents. Oversee physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to plans and providing mentorship while maintaining compliance with state laws. Evaluate patient home environments for modifications and educate families on assistive devices for at-home implementation. Document progress through clinical records and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during case conferences to ensure holistic care.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's Degree
- A current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Texas
- A minimum of one year of practical experience in physical therapy
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
