Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations reviewing patient history and performing physical assessments to devise tailored treatment plans for orthopedic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Implement and modify treatment protocols based on ongoing evaluations to maximize outcomes, while documenting progress accurately in electronic health records. Engage in discharge planning to ensure seamless patient transitions and provide aftercare instructions. Communicate effectively with clinicians, patients, families, and insurance providers, and actively participate in facility meetings and training sessions to maintain compliance with regulations.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy, as regulated by Florida state law
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association
- At least two years of hands-on experience as a Physical Therapist
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy, as regulated by Florida state law
