Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to establish comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual recovery goals. Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, to improve mobility and alleviate pain. Educate patients and families about therapeutic exercises and strategies to support ongoing recovery outside of therapy sessions. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Work primarily with geriatric patients facing mobility challenges, surgeries, and chronic conditions to support their journey toward greater independence.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Oregon
- A clean professional license
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of clinical experience
- Proficient in manual therapy techniques
- Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation practices
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Familiarity with WebPT
- Prior experience in an outpatient therapy setting
- Experience focused on geriatric treatment
- Knowledge of injury prevention strategies
- Knowledge of rehabilitation best practices
- Ability to develop and implement innovative patient care strategies
- Experience with patient education and engagement techniques
