Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs by reviewing medical history and performing physical assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, addressing specific conditions and patient goals. Implement targeted therapeutic techniques and interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education. Educate patients and their families about treatment goals and outcomes, ensuring they are actively involved in their care journey. Document patient progress accurately and maintain clear communication with interdisciplinary team members regarding changes in treatment plans. Provide guidance and support to patients, ensuring their concerns and feedback are addressed during therapy sessions. Promote wellness and prevention strategies within the client population to enhance overall quality of life. Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with evolving practices and innovations in physical therapy.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques relevant to physical therapy practice
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with patients from varied backgrounds
- Commitment to delivering the highest standard of patient care and willingness to work collaboratively within a team
