Job Summary
Develop and execute tailored treatment plans for a diverse patient cohort by conducting thorough assessments and determining long-term rehabilitation objectives. Guide therapeutic procedures aligned with physician prescriptions while monitoring progress to adjust strategies for functional restoration. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise routines, therapeutic appliances, and prosthetic device usage. Manage prioritized caseloads and coordinate daily schedules to ensure smooth care transitions. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our Woodbridge, New Jersey facility.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- A valid and clean license as a Physical Therapist
- An exemplary professional record reflecting ethical conduct and dedication to providing compassionate care
- Strong manual therapy skills and knowledge
- Experience in developing customized exercise programs that cater to the specific rehabilitation needs of patients
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient settings
- Experience with manual therapy techniques
- Experience with specific patient populations (such as sports rehabilitation)
- Knowledge of current trends in physical therapy
- Knowledge of definitions of best practices
